The All-American Rejects are back!

After a 3 year 'emptiness' since their 2005 hit release "Move Along", Rejects fans can finally feel whole again! The band we all love will be releasing their 3rd album "'When The World Comes Down" on December 16. The lead single 'Gives You Hell' has proven to be a step up and has shown us all that this 3 year wait was totally worth it! The guys recently played a show in New York City and of course, The Spotlight was there to get all the details! It was the first NYC show for AAR since last year. It was obvious that the crowd missed them and even more obvious that the feeling was mutual! The show itself was amazing, quite possibly my favorite Rejects show ever. During the older songs such as 'My Paper Heart' from their first record, Tyson looked at the other guys and said 'We're sounding just like the record tonight!'. It made me laugh because they in fact did sound like the record but still somehow better than the record. Everything's better when it's live! When they performed Gives You Hell, I'm sure the people in the crowd who didn't know the song before they walked into the building walked out LOVING it. (How insanely awesome is the video for this song, by the way? Love it!) Overall, if you are a fan of The All-American Rejects and you have yet to see them live, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?...they are some of the best performers out there. They've been a band for so long that they have no choice but to be incredible on stage. It's just natural at this point. They have a special chemistry as a band and there's not one negative thing I can say about their live show. I am personally recommending that you go to as many AAR shows as possible in your lifetime. The end.
